Organizing and facilitating large group or multi-team workshops fully remote is challenging and many of us experimented with it and found our way during COVID-19. A self-designing team workshop contains aspect that bring even different challenges: personal characteristics & preferences, the need for discussions between (potential) team members and making decisions with a large group. In this session, we will share the context, our experiments and lessons learned of fully remote self-designing team workshops (we decided to do it in two workshops). Additionally, we will share our thoughts and possible experiments to take these learnings and combine the best of both co-located and remote worlds for self-designing team workshops after COVID-19.
