Description :

Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) is a framework for scaling agile development to multiple teams. LeSS.works gives an overview. LeSS builds on top of the Scrum principles such as empiricism, cross-functional self-managing teams and provides a framework for applying that at scale. It provides simple structural rules and guidelines on how to adopt Scrum in large product development.

This in-depth, interactive course is taught by Greg Hutchings, founder of Amelior Services, a small global company specialized in lean, agile and digital coaching and training.  Greg is an expert in scaling Lean and Agile using LeSS and Innovation Games(tm), who has more than 15 years of experience applying, teaching and coaching large scale agile at many innovative products and services companies.  He shares this experience and centers the course on the context and questions of the students who participate actively.

Greg Hutchings, Certified LeSS Trainer

The Online LeSS Practitioner course is an in-depth course covering the LeSS principles, framework and rules, and guides. It provides essential information for adopting and improving LeSS to your product development group. The course contains an overview of LeSS, stories on LeSS adoptions, exercises and extensive LeSS Q&A to ensure we discuss the topics most of interest to the participants.

Aaron Suedmeyer, CLP, Feb 2017:  "Greg is an amazing trainer. His knowledge of LeSS is substantial. He clearly conveys the theory of LeSS and backs that up with practical and real world experience. What make Greg a great teacher is that is extremely responsive to feedback. During my course he was able to personalize the course by changing direction mid-stream. His agility as a teacher greatly increased the value of the course not only for me but all of the students."

The Online LeSS Practitioner course is for anyone who is involved in a LeSS effort. Basic Scrum knowledge is expected and can be achieved by attending a Certified ScrumMaster or a Professional ScrumMaster course, or thoroughly reading Scrum introduction material such as the Scrum Primer and practicing Scrum.
