Reaktor was selected to help with fundamental changes in process and organisation. The entire staff attended courses by Reaktor trainers and Reaktor coaches were embedded on all levels of the organization.

The approach to the change was pivotally influenced by Reaktor. Instead of top-down directives, an inside-out practical change was put in motion. The transformation itself had to be iterative and incremental.

The start was a single team of the most willing and able. Scrum was rolled out and more teams formed as interest mounted. Learnings from the first teams were incorporated in the common ways of working. Eventually, the entire organisation of hundreds self-organised to new cross-functional teams and moved to new team spaces.

Despite a particularly challenging technological environment, LMF managed to bring about a radical change in their process and thinking. The most important factor surely was a particularly constructive company culture, but we at Reaktor certainly helped them make the journey with less detours and cul-de-sacs.
