In large-scale product development, teams often prioritize local efficiency, yet global value delivery falls short. This talk explores how to shift focus from isolated productivity to end-to-end impact. First, we examine conventional strategies: optimizing feature delivery through feature teams and aligning priorities via a shared product backlog, emphasizing motivation and ability. Then, we assess AI’s role—enhancing local efficiency, accelerating feature delivery, and enabling global prioritization—to bridge the gap between local efficiency and global value. The goal is to leverage both organizational design and AI to maximize outcomes at scale.
