I am a pragmatist. I am hands-on. I strongly believe in agile values. I am a constant learner and always curious to listen to other peoples ideas, practises and experiences and to engage in stimulating discussions. I am a critical thinker and do not use one pattern only. My concept is to lead by example rather than to manage.
I know from experience that every organisation or team works differently. A one-fits-all-solution is rather unlikely. Hence I introduce new concepts and principles and discuss and apply them together with the client. I use an agile inspect-and-adapt approach to test and gradually refine the changes we made.
My background lies in software-development and software-architecture. I have been working for over 20 years for national and multi-national organisations. In 2006 I came in touch with agile values and principles. Since then I am applying these values on a daily basis.
Although I am a pragmatist, I do understand the concepts and theory behind the practice. I graduated in Computer Science (Dipl.-Ing. Technische Informatik, M.Sc.) and hold MBA from Durham University Business School.
