Frederic works as a Corporate Agile Coach at Brainlab in Munich.
Before that he was involved in a LeSS Huge adoption as a Senior Scrum Master at BMW in Munich. He joined BMW after working in robotics at the research center for cognitive robotics Center for Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC) in Bielefeld, Germany. There he founded together with some of his colleagues a RoboCup@Home team, the RoboCup@Home league aims to develop service and assistive robot technology, to add a real life software engineering experience to the curriculum. The main challenge at CITEC was to implement a high adaptability not only into the system (the robot performing the tasks), but also into the team itself.
Frederic gained a lot of experience from working with RoboCup teams and the different development teams at BMW. Both challenging environments and both with challenging technologies. Within BMW Frederic was working in different areas and projects, ranging from Software Architecture, Driver Assistance Systems to Autonomous Driving.
His current challenge in a nutshell:
How to create teams in an technologically challenging environments that can act fast and adaptive, innovate the stack in an organization that is learning and improving continuously?
I was the Co-Initiator together with Konstantin for the transition and part of the core team. I was a Scrum Master from the very beginning.
