Scrum Event and Lisa Crispin present: Testing is a Team Sport!
Testing has been seen as an afterthought or a bottleneck by many for so long. As more organizations around the world want to move towards continuous delivery, and as our systems get more complex, a lot of testers, teams and customers are getting stressed out.
Scrum is all about cross-functional teams collaborating together. When the whole team takes responsibility for testing and quality, we can deliver small increments of value to our customers frequently, at a sustainable and stress-reduced pace. In this talk, Lisa will explain how the whole team working together improves product quality.
Learning takeaways:
• Ways to encourage team members in all roles and specialities to own quality, learn and use testing skills
• Some leading practices to build quality in and reduce cycle time
• How testers, developers, product owners and others can shift their mindsets to help the team solve testing problems and improve quality.
