What is a (provisional) candidate Certified LeSS Trainer?
A provisional candidate LeSS Trainer is someone who officially started his journey towards becoming a LeSS Trainer. They are part of the candidate trainer community and discussion group.
If you want to become a provisional candidate trainer, you’ll need to read through the criteria for becoming a LeSS trainer and acknowledge you have:
- Experience in Scrum
- Experience in LeSS
- Experience as a trainer
After they have been through both Bas and Craig’s course, they receive a candidate trainer badge and will be listed as candidate LeSS trainer in the member directory. That means:
- They are able to apply for LeSS Friendly Scrum Trainer and then give Certified LeSS Basics courses to help them in their LeSS adoption.
- They can be invited for the LeSS trainer and candidate trainer meet-up which tends to happen before the LeSS Conference
Mentoring
All candidate trainers that are ready to work on their case study will be given a mentor. Their mentor will help them through their final stages and give feedback on their case study.
