Scaling Predictive Maintenance with LeSS, Agentic AI Coaching and Wearable AI: Lessons from a 5-Team Energy Grid Setup (Tentative)
How do you combine Large-Scale Scrum with real-world AI in a highly regulated energy context?
In this talk I share lessons from a 5-team LeSS-style setup around predictive maintenance for the electricity grid at a German utility.
We'll look at how we structured product definition, team boundaries and one common Product Backlog to enable meaningful AI use cases instead of isolated pilots.
I will show how an agentic AI coach (Adrian, from the DASA Agentic AI Enterprise Strategist approach) helped leaders and teams clarify outcomes, capabilities and constraints, and how a wearable AI device (Omi) supported observation, sense-making and follow-up actions in key events like Sprint Reviews and multi-team Refinements.
