Abstract:

The Toyota Production System has deeply influenced Agile thinking.

In the age of AI, it can still offer practical guidance for how we develop software—especially in large-scale environments where multiple teams must collaborate closely.

This talk explores what AI-augmented development can learn from TPS, not just at the level of philosophy, but in concrete day-to-day practices.

Drawing from recent hands-on experience across several projects, I will share patterns, tensions, and practical lessons for using AI in ways that improve learning, flow, quality, and coordination rather than amplify waste.
