My journey as a software developer started in 1986 using BASIC, 6502 Assembler and some Turbo Pascal.
After an educational detour (got a degree in social sciences and philosophy) in 2001 I ramped up again as a software developer.
In 2004 I started to adopt XP engineering techniques and practices and two years later I joined my first Scrum team as a full-stack developer.
In 2008 I started my journey as a cross-team technical coach introducing continuous integration and acceptance test automation infrastructure and working culture at the worlds largest insurance company.
Between 2012 and 2014 (2 years) I was part of the USP LeSS adoption at BMW (case study by Mark Bregenzer) as a developer and technical coach. During that period I started breathing the LeSS mindset.
After two years helping a number of companies in the financial services industry as an agile quality coach, I have started driving organisational growth and agility by means of simplification. Mainly working for large corporations in automotive, insurance and electricity.
