Michele Sliger has worked in software development for over 25 years and is the owner of Sliger Consulting Inc.
She is the co-author of The Software Project Manager’s Bridge to Agility. A self-described “bridge builder,” her passion lies in helping those in traditional software development environments cross the bridge to agility. A frequent conference speaker and regular contributor to software industry publications, Michele is a strong advocate of agile principles and value-driven development practices.
She holds certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMP® and PMI-ACP®), and is a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). A former adjunct graduate professor at the University of Colorado, she holds an undergraduate MIS degree from the University of South Florida and an MBA. When not working, Michele volunteers as a teen mentor in the Humane Education program at the Denver Dumb Friends League, an animal shelter founded in 1910.
