For the past 7 years, Rumen has been working with competence and organisational development questions and change at IKEA. With assignments delivering to the competence development and change to category ways of working in supplying and new ways of work, lead and organise for product development, Rumen has matured understanding of the IKEA value chain and competence in navigating complexity and facilitating change. Currently, Rumen is leading the global implementation of the new recruitment system for the Inter IKEA Group (Franchise, Industry, Range and Supply) and the implementation of a common Job portal for the franchise system, within the competence flow agenda.
Prior to IKEA, Rumen had been involved for 15 years in consulting, project management and business development in the competence field, mobile and eLearning. He has been providing consultancy to corporate, academic and public organisations, including: Bosch, SwissRe, General Electrics MB, Ericsson, McKinsey, RAI Educational; Tampere University, Milan Chamber of Commerce and the European Space Agency, helping them align learning solutions to business goals.
Thanks to his experience in Business process optimisation, Organisation development and Change, Rumen works seamlessly throughout the organisation to assess challenges and risks and facilitate development of practical solutions.
Rumen has taught Project Management, Business Analysis and Process Improvement courses in Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Sudan and Sweden.
Rumen holds a Master of Science in Managing engineering and Bachelor of Science in Multimedia technologies.
Rumen is certified LeSS Practitioner. Moreover, he is certified by the Project management institute as Project management professional (PMP), Portfolio management professional (PfMP) and Agile practitioner (PMI-ACP), by the International Institute for Business Analysis as Business analysis professional (CBAP) and by the International Association for Six Sigma Certifications as Lean Six Sigma yellow belt professional (LSSYB).
