Personal Profile

Munich, Germany

Frederic works as a Senior Scrum Master at BMW in Munich. Before that he was working in robotics at the research center for cognitive robotics Center for Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC) in Bielefeld, Germany. There he founded together with some of his colleagues a RoboCup@Home team, the RoboCup@Home league aims to develop service and assistive robot technology, to add a real life software engineering experience to the curriculum.
The challenge was to implement a high adaptability not only into the system (the robot performing the tasks), but also into the team itself.

Frederic gained a lot of experience from working with these teams in a challenging environment, which was very helpful when he joined the BMW in 2013 where he was working in different areas and projects, ranging from Software Architecture, Diver Assistance Systems to Autonomous Driving.

His current challenge in a nutshell: How to create teams in technologically challenging environments that could act as fast and as adaptive as the many different RoboCup teams were?
