Peter Janssens is a senior consultant using Scrum and other agile and lean methodologies to improve management and product development for several larger software organizations.
Experience
Peter has experience from the software industry since 1996, to a great part in the area of product management where he has held several positions, ranging over development, analysis to coaching and managerial responsibilities.
Peter has managed Scrum projects, helped customers start or improve their Scrum initatives at companies like Tele Atlas (currently TomTom), SD Worx, DKV insurances, Eandis, VAB, De Persgroep and Barco.
Creative entrepreneur
As entrepreneur and business developer, he is co-founder of iLean, a happy workplace consultancy company. He also co-founded TextTheButler, a start-up initiative.
Trainer & coach
Peter is based in Ghent, Belgium, as a freelancer. He coaches and guides teams, and has experience in guiding product owners and different types of managers. As a trainer, he has a materials toolbox ready to offer a wide range of workshop facilitations, or agile and scrum related trainings from the back of the room.
Studies & certifications
He holds an accounting and an applied economics sciences degree at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. He continued studies at Vlerick Business School (ICT management track).
He dived into several intresting skills and competence trainings like Java programming, group- and visual facilitation techniques, agile leadership tracks, etc...
Peter is a CSM, CSPO and a Less certified Practitioner.
