A retrospective on how DKatalis experimentation on deliberately assessing engineering capability grew into a model that is repeatable across areas. Just like building a product, we'd rather ship than be perfect, iterate, and course correct along the way;  we are in the journey to align capability model across functions (product, design, data, engineering, people) with a "maleable" initial model.
