About the Instructor

Gene Gendel is an organizational design expert, agile/lean coach and trainer, consultant and adviser to senior leadership.  Almost 15 of 20+ years of his professional experience  – Gene dedicated to working with companies of various sizes and lines of business, trying to help them improve internal dynamics, organizational structure and becoming a better place to work.  Gene engages at all organizational levels: senior- , mid- management, teams and individuals.  Gene uses various methods, tools and techniques to amplify learning by others and to ensure that people gain autonomy after Gene “coaches himself out of the job.
Gene significantly contributes to global and local agile communities, where he influences people by running workshops, webinars, seminars, panel discussions, lunch & learn, coaching retreats, professional gatherings and other events.
While teaching and coaching Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) to organizations, Gene has built the biggest in world (today) LeSS meetup community that is used as a free educational hub about LeSS available to many people.
Outside of LeSS community, Gene holds unique industry-standard credentials for coaching, with Scrum Alliance: Certified Enterprise & Team Coach (CEC-CTC). This enables Gene to deliver, via coaching and mentoring, the following, respectively: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Product Owner (CSPO) and CEC-CTC credential mentoring.

As Certified LeSS Trainer, Gene is a part of a small group of world-class experienced LeSS organizational-design consultants, executive coaches and change experts that have deep expertise in Product Management and Development. Gene is a skilled trainer and experienced facilitator, who knows how to engage a class in-person and virtually. Gene delivers public and private training (below).
In his training, Gene appropriately balances theory and practical discussions, leveraging his extensive experience of coaching and consulting for various organizations, over many years. Through exercises and system modelling sessions, Gene helps his students discover and own their own discoveries. Gene does not teach to fine-printed power point slides and unproven hypos. In his classes, students have many 'aha' moments and learn how to see things that they no longer can "un-see".

As Certified LeSS Coach, Gene coaches through his solely owned company KSTS Consulting.  At the moment, KSTS Consulting is the only US based company that is accredited as Certified LeSS Coaching company.  KSTS Consulting - is a great choice of a small, authentic boutique firm that can provide high-quality deep imbedded coaching to other companies.
Through his company, Gene Gendel sets the highest quality bar for other enterprise and team coaches, trainers and organizational design consultants on how to provide services to their clients. While holding others to high standards, Gene strives to keep his own bar high. He holds the highest industry credentials, from the most reputable, world-recognized organizations (e.g. Scrum Alliance), as well as has his own, proven track record of accomplishments.
